VOYAH FREE - the brand and the vehicle
Rotkreuz, April 2024 -VOYAH is the premium brand of the established car manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DMC) from Wuhan, China. Founded in 1969, Dongfeng Motor Corporation is now one of the largest automotive groups in China with more than 176,000 employees and over three million vehicles sold annually. Its product portfolio includes commercial vehicles, NEVs, passenger vehicles, engines, auto parts and technical components. DMC has joint ventures with international brands such as Nissan, Citroën, Peugeot, Honda, Kia and Infiniti.
The VOYAH FREE is an electrically powered premium SUV with a dynamic and elegant design. It has already been successfully launched in Norway (in cooperation with the importer Electric Way). The VOYAH FREE has been available in Switzerland since mid-August 2023. As the exclusive importer, NOYO AG has taken over sales and service for the brand there. Further European countries are set to follow in 2024.
Positioning/price range
With plenty of comfort, generous dimensions and a powerful motorization, the VOYAH FREE is clearly positioned in the premium class and is thus in a competitive environment with the Mercedes EQE SUV 500 4MATIC, Audi Q8 55 e-tron quattro, Tesla Model X or BMW iX xDrive 50. Despite comparable or even better performance data compared to competitors, the acquisition costs of the VOYAH FREE are significantly lower than those of European manufacturers or Tesla. In Switzerland - where the VOYAH FREE is already available - the price for the vehicle is CHF 69,990 incl. VAT. An exact sales price for Germany will be announced when the market launch is announced.
Innovative interior design
The innovative and luxurious interior design is one of the outstanding features of the VOYAH FREE. The spacious interior offers plenty of room and legroom for the whole family. The entire interior is lavishly finished to a high standard. Sound-absorbing glass and a panoramic roof with dimmable light transmission ensure a pleasant and comfortable ride. The textiles used in the seats as well as the side and floor panels meet Oeko-Tex 100 standards and are complemented by vegan leather.
The three 12.3-inch displays, which provide information, navigation and entertainment for the driver and front passenger across the entire width of the windshield and lower into the dashboard when the journey is complete, are also a truly special feature.
The multifunction steering wheel and the center console ensure easy operation of the navigation and entertainment system, while various cameras offer perfect all-round visibility - even of the passengers sitting in the rear if desired.

Battery and charging
The106.7-kWh battery in ternary lithium technology (nickel, manganese, cobalt) gives the VOYAH FREE a range of 500 kilometers (WLTP). With up to 100 kW, the vehicle charges from 20 to 80 percent in 45 minutes, depending on the charging infrastructure (AC charging with 11 kW onboard).
Motor and performance
The two electric motors of the dual-motor drive deliver up to 489 hp and distribute a torque of 720 Nm to all four driven wheels. This enables the VOYAH FREE to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and tow a trailer load of up to 2,000 kilograms. A trailer coupling is available as an option.
Exterior, mass and weight
Elegance, dynamism and an exciting yet timeless design: from every perspective, the VOYAH FREE embodies a lightness that stands out positively in the premium SUV environment. The wide and flat radiator grille at the front features confident yet discreet chrome slats, which are visually connected to the flat headlights. Despite its overall length of 4.90 meters and a weight of 2,310 kilograms, the VOYAH FREE also appears light and flowing when viewed from the side. The profile impresses with its flat body and elegant, shapely proportions. The rear design of the VOYAH FREE fascinates with its striking rear lights, an elegant LED strip under black glass and an aerodynamic rear wing. This combination gives the vehicle a dynamic and exclusive character that attracts everyone's attention and promises an incomparable driving experience.
In Switzerland, the VOYAH FREE is currently available in six colors: Cloud Blue, Snow White, Sky Blue, Star Night, Cloud Gray and Dark Green.
